Miles
N. Wernick, Ph.D., President
Dr. Wernick has 25 years of experience
in the development of imaging technologies. He began his career
developing techniques in the fields of night vision, optics, and pattern recognition, and for
the past 17 years has specialized in medical imaging, especially PET/SPECT, neuroimaging and fMRI, novel x-ray techniques, computer-aided diagnosis, and image processing. Dr. Wernick
is a Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where
he is Director of the Medical Imaging Research Center. Dr. Wernick
is co-editor of the book Emission Tomography: The Fundamentals
of PET and SPECT. He is Associate Editor of the journals IEEE Transactions on Image Processing and SPIE/IS&T Journal of Electronic Imaging.
Stephen
C. Strother, Ph.D., Vice President
Dr. Strother has 30 years of
experience in the development of imaging technologies, specializing
in functional neuroimaging. He has been a prominent proponent of predictive modeling approaches to analysis of functional brain images, having developed the NPAIRS software package. He is chair of the Data Format Working
Group, a multinational committee set up under the Neuroimaging
Informatics Technology Initiative at the NIH. Dr. Strother is also
a Senior Scientist at the Rotman Research Institute
and Professor of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. Dr. Strother is Associate Editor of the journal Human Brain Mapping.

S. Lukic, Ph.D., Senior Research Engineer
Dr. Lukic has 10 years of experience
in the areas of neuroimaging data analysis and imaging system
development. She is an expert in image processing,
data analysis, electronics, and software development.
